Cimilo iyo Cambuulo
Cambuulo iyo Cimilo is a community-based climate dialogue initiative that convenes monthly discussions on climate change and environmental issues. Through an informal and culturally engaging setting—where participants share traditional beans (“cambuulo”)—the initiative fosters open dialogue, knowledge exchange, and community awareness on climate challenges and locally relevant solutions.
Somali Youth Climate Summit
The Somali Youth Climate Summit is a flagship initiative of SCCC that convenes young leaders, students, and climate advocates to advance climate awareness and action. The summit serves as a dynamic platform for climate education, capacity building, and innovation, empowering Somali youth to lead and incubate locally driven climate solutions.
School Environmental Club
In partnership with school administrations, SCCC establishes and supports environmental clubs to foster climate awareness and action among students. These clubs serve as platforms for youth to lead and participate in practical environmental activities, promoting sustainability, climate responsibility, and long-term behavioral change within schools and communities.
